On the occasion of its 150th anniversary, the winery Vega Sicilia has launched a limited edition of 1,500 boxes with the last six vintages of Valbuena 5 °.

La Bodega Vega Sicilia takes 150 years to be one of the largest wineries in our country. And to celebrate its anniversary, he has now released an exclusive product that has aroused the rapid interest lovers this house: it is a limited edition boxes containing within it the latest vintages of Valbuena 5th (2006, 2007 , 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011). The box is available with an explanatory book in which data about the winery and information of each wine are detailed, including such varied information from the harvest to tasting notes.

The 5th Year Valbuena is one of the most representative wines, and that has evolved from Vega Sicilia. As state from the cellar, "the goal of this edition is to take advantage that there is less production of Vega Sicilia Único, to give Valbuena 5º the prominence it really deserves. An exceptional opportunity for a perfect vertical tasting of our latest Valbuenas".

The Valbuena wine is made with tempranillo, one of the purest fine red grapes. Climatological factors each year are those that mark the differences between different crops for processing. Therefore with this sample of the last six wines Valbuena "can be seen how the weather affects each wine and how it has evolved."

Aging potential: 10-15 years (essential conservation between 12º / 14º without sharp swings and 60% humidity).
