Codos de Larouco Mencía Barrica red wine is the bet of red wine of barrel of the project Toubes. It is a wine under the denomination of origin Valdeorras elaborated with grapes 91% Mencía, 7% Arauxa and 2% Garnacha old strains.

Codos de Larouco red wine is aged for 6 months in new French, American and Central European oak barrels.

Codos de Larouco colour is garnet red of Cardinal iridescence. Deep layer and slow legs. On the nose it has a powerful complexity and harmony of ripe fruits and noble spices, with notes of mint and hibiscus, rosemary and honey. On the palate it shows the character of the terroir, with mineral notes and sensations from the barrel fermentation. Long and deep aftertaste. 

The optimal temperature to consume Larouco Codos is between 19 and 21 º C
