Cruceiro Rexio wine is a red wine with Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin, which is elaborated in the sub-area of ​​Amandi; Cruceiro Rxio is made with grape varieties: Mencia, Caiño and Albarello, cultivated on the steep slopes of the river Sil (Doade, Sober, Lugo), in a viticulture that is qualified as heroic.

The fermentation of the Cruceiro Rexio wine grapes is done in a traditional way with a careful control during the entire process of fermentation and aging for a minimum of six months in oak barrels.

Cruceiro Rexio red wine has a cherry red color. On the nose aromas of ripe fruit with a subtle touch of wood, vanilla, coffee. Soft tannins, sweet, dense. Balanced despite having a high alcohol content.

Distinctions reached by red wine Cruceiro Rexio:
  • 2013 Silver Medal at Catavinum World Wine and Spirits Competition.
  • 2011 Gallaecia Distinction by the Galician Association of Sommeliers "Gallaecia".
