This Pago de Carraovejas vintage is very special, since in 2017 the frosts affected the Pago de Carraovejas vineyards, in the Ribera del Duero, after many efforts they managed to save production, and this, although much more scarce than usual (40% less production), it is of great quality. Red wine Pago de Carraovejas 2017, is the previously named "Crianza". This year joining the current trend in Spain that defends the origin and character of the wines over the standardized processes of production, therefore does not include the denomination of "Crianza".
Also this year Pago de Carraovejas 2015 arrives with a change of image, made by the Barcelona studio Xavier Bas Disseny.
Pago de Carraovejas is one of the red wines with the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, it is a sensational wine made with 94% Tinto Fino / Tempranillo, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% merlot.
