Quinta da Leda red wine, from the Portuguese winery Casa Ferrerirnha, is a high-quality wine made from Touriga Francesa, Tempranillo, Tinta Cao and Touriga Nacional grapes. It has a designation of origin Porto/Douro

Casa Ferreirinha Quinta da Leda reveals an intense aroma, with very well integrated floral, balsamic and woody notes. A wine of exceptional quality, which preserves the profile to which Quinta da Leda has accustomed us, with special notes resulting from the characteristics of a warm year.

Born in 1995 as a single strain of Touriga Nacional, in 1997 a batch was produced that, bottled two years later, would go on the market in 2000, to celebrate the passing of the millennium. Lending a new dimension to Douro wines, Quinta da Leda has always assumed the excellence of a contemporary wine, ready to be savored, but with excellent aging potential.

Casa Ferreirinha founded in 1952, bears the name of the legendary matriarch of Porto, Dona Antónia Ferreira. Her compatriots affectionately nicknamed her 'Ferreirinha', and Casa Ferreirinha, the first producer in the region dedicated to making light wines, pays homage to her memory. Purchased by Sogrape in 1987, it has 520 hectares of vineyards in the Douro in its three sub-regions: Baixo Corgo, Cimar Corgo and Douro Superior. Vinification is led by Luís Sottomayor, who restrains the Douro's natural exuberance to produce wines that have a freshness allied to enchanting depth and texture.
