Japanese whisky Hakushu 18 years old is one of the brands of Japanese whisky, single malt of the Japanese distillery Suntory, for the manufacture of this whiskey is used barley malted with peat that gives a slightly smoky flavor that complements the floral notes derived from the Wooded surroundings of the distillery, and is aged in barrels of Bourbon and Jerez for 18 years.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Yamazaki Distillery, Suntory built the Hakushu Distillery in 1973. The water used for Hakushu whisky passes through the granite layers in the Southern Alps of Mount Kaikomagatake. Over time, the crystalline waters that glide along Mount Kaikomagatake pierce the rock and accumulate until they separate in the rivers Ojira and Jingu. These rivers create an alluvial fan of white sand at the foot of the mountain, from which comes the name of Hakushu, which means "white sand bank".

Hakushu 18 years old japanese whisky has a yellow-gold, nose touches of green apple and sweet pears, aged wood, all wrapped in a different smoke. In the mouth it gives off apple and pear flavors, with notes of sherry, bitter orange, with remarkable smoky and pleasing ointment.
