Wine Don Bernardino
Don Bernardino red wine is made with 100% Mencía grapes from the Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin of the Amandi Sub-area. The winery Don Bernardino is located in Sta. Cruz de Brosmos, in the municipality of Sober in the province of Lugo.

The vintage is made in boxes thus arriving the grapes intact to the cellar, where they are selected by hand. The fermentation in stainless steel is done at controlled temperature and macerated for 8-10 days making 3 lifts daily.

Don Bernardino red wine is a young red wine with a cherry red color with violet reflections. In the nose it has an aromatic intensity typical of the mencía grape. The palate is elegant and balanced with a well-balanced acidity has the elegance of the best wines of Amandi.

2010 18th edition of the Aosta International Wine Wines Contest (Don Bernardino gold medal / Don Bernardino silver medal 07)
