The Malcavada Selección wine is a young red wine from the Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin in the sub-area of ​​Amandi, made with the 100% Mencía grape variety.

The vineyard that gives the name to the wine sits on the slope of the Sil in the concello de Sober.
The vintage of Malcavada Selección wine is manual with grape selection in the vineyard. Maceration prefermentativa in cold with subsequent alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature and malolactic in steel barrel. And finally filtered and bottled.

Malcavada red wine has a cherry red color, is clean and bright. In nose aromas of red fruits with bottom of mount low. In the mouth it has a warm, good body with an acidity and marked tannin, although fresh and friendly. The aftertaste is persistent, fruity and appetizing.
