 The Pancrudo Gómez Cruzado red wine is made with grapes 100% Grenache from vineyards over 80 years old from the village of Badarán in the valley of Alto Najerilla, the winery Gómez Cruzado with DOCa Rioja.

Pancrudo red wine is "a wine village showing an original expression of the Garnacha" defines the winemaker David Gonzalez takes its name from its geographical origin. Pancrudos mountains of the Sierra de la Demand nearby vineyards.

The harvest is done manually, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel with smooth bazuqueos for the controlled extraction of compounds from the skin. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels (65%) and egg concrete (35%). Half of the production remains 12 months in new French oak barrels and the other half stays the same time in the egg concrete.

Pancrudo Gómez Cruzado wine has a cherry red color, clean and bright. The nose is perfumed with notes of red fruit and mineral notes, salt. The palate is balanced, with good acidity and fruitiness. It is an excellent representative of the Grenache grown in a cold area and a soil little known Rioja.
