Al Pié Del Cañón red wine is one of the Galician red wines produced by the Ribeira Sacra Ronsel do Sil winery.

Al Pié Del Cañón red wine is a monovarietal of the Caíño grape variety, an ancestral native grape.

The two small vineyards of the winery that are used to make this wine are located in the Cañón del Sil, which gives its name to the brand on the label. Specifically in Parada de Sil, A Teixeira. A manual harvest is carried out.

The age of the Caíño vines is 10-30 years old with a trellis training system. The granitic soils with a North, West exposure and are found at an altitude of 350-470 meters

Al Pié Del Cañón red wine has a marked typicity of this ancestral autochthonous variety; aromas of smoked and liquorice, with a characteristic sustained acidity.

The production of Al Pié del Cañón is limited, 700 bottles per year.

Recommended service temperature: 16º C.
