Alto Moncayo
Alto Moncayo is a red wine 100% Garnacha elaborated in Campo de Borja.

Red wine Alto Moncayo is the flagship of the winery. It is also another single-grape variety of Garnacha, from vines between 40 and 70 years old, aged in new barrels for 20 months. It has a remarkable complex nose, with balsamic aromas, redolent of black fruit, roasted notes and a very good structure in the mouth.

Alto Moncayo red wine is known for having obtained 100 Parker points in its 2009 and 2007 vintages. This recognition has only been obtained by 3 Spanish wineries.

Alto Moncayo has obtained other important awards. For example, it has obtained 93 points Parker in 2015 and 2014, 90 points Wine Spectactor in 2015 and 91 in James Suckling. It has obtained 95 points in Guía Peñín in 2016.

Bodegas Alto Moncayo is a winery located in the area covered by the Campo de Borja Denominación de Origen (DO, wine quality standard). It was founded in 2002 with the aim of turning it into a world reference for Garnacha wines of the highest quality, prepared from native vine clones.
