Bembibre crianza red wine is one of the red wines with the Bierzo Denomination of Origin. The Bembibre red wine, from Dominio de Tares, is made with 100% Mencía grapes.

Mencía Bembibre red wine is made by hand harvesting bunch by bunch, spontaneous fermentation with its own natural yeast and aged for 15 months in French oak barrels and an extra 24 months in the bottle.

Bembibre red wine tasting note from Dominio de Tares
View: Brilliant red with an intense ruby color and marked opacity, which leaves a large amount of tears in the glass after being shaken.
Nose: Complex and deep nose, with aroma of candied black fruits, balsamic herbs, Havana cigar and mineral notes of graphite.
Palate: Balanced and dense on the palate, with a silky texture, polished tannins and an aftertaste of black plum and cedar.

Bembibre red wine from Dominio de Tares is very appropriate to pair with recipes with an intense flavor such as botillos and spoon dishes, big game, baked lamb and cured cheeses. It is recommended to open and decant several minutes before serving.

Recommended consumption temperature around 16°C.
