Cruceiro wine
Cruceiro is a red wine with Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin in the Amandi sub-area; Is elaborated with the grape varieties: Mencía and Merenzao, cultivated in the steep slopes of the River Sil (Doade, Sober, Lugo), in a viticulture that is described as heroic. The fermentation of Cruceiro wine grapes is done in a traditional way.
 Cruceiro red wine has a cherry red color with violet fringes. On the nose it has aromas of red fruit with notes to lactic aromas. In the mouth it is balanced, smooth, unctuous with pleasant tannins.
 
Distinctions reached by red wine Cruceiro:
  • 2015 and 2014: Great Gold Award (Guide of Wines, Spirits and Wineries of Galicia).
  • 2014: Amandi Wine Fair Award.
  • 2012: 12th Galician Red Wine Competition in Euskadi, 2nd prize.
  • 2012: Silver medal International Wine Competition 2010 Silver Wine Tasting of the wines of Galicia.
  • 2009: Acio de Bronce Tasting two vineyards in Galicia.
  • 2009: Gold Medal in Aosta (Italy) 2 Diplomas in Aosta. 3 awards in several Fairs of Viandio of Amandi (1º prize 1993).
