Guitián Acacia Wine

Guitián Acacia wine is one of the Galician wines with O.D Valdeororras, a single-varietal white wine from the A Tapada winery made with 100% Godello grapes and fermented in acacia barrel.

Acacia wood, compared to that of oak, is less tannic with slightly higher concentrations of flavonoids, which, together with a higher permeability, gives a golden color that is somewhat more intense. The aromas that yield to the wine are more subtle, reminiscent of oriental woods, like sandalwood and incense.

Guitián Acacia wine is golden yellow. In the nose it has aromas of stone and citrus fruits with vegetable nuances and nuts and aromas from the acacia wood. In the mouth it is potent and fresh of great aromatic persistence, intensity and complexity.

Guitián Acacia wine is only produced in exceptional years and with a very small production (500 to 1,000 bottles). He has 91 points in the Robert Parker Guide.
