Martín Códax was one of the trovadores Galician more important of the medievo. The Parchment Vindel houses his cantigas, the most ancient of the galaico-Portuguese, that ensalzan the love and the passion by the mar.

The wine that carries his name, the albariño Martín Codax, of yellow colour pajizo with reflections lemon, is clean, brilliant and with a light bubble that shows his youth. In nose stand out the floral notes type mimosa, jazmin, etc., the citrus fruit (orange, grapefruit, etc) and the fruit of pulpa white like the apple. It presents a mouth envolvente, with a very integrated acidity and long retRumasal where persist especially the fruit of pulpa white and citrus.
