Zachary Elfman is a Californian who fell in love with the wines of Ribeira Sacra and decided to change his life completely undertaking a wine adventure in Galicia. Its "Mission" project consists of three wines.

The wine Mission Tinto Uno is a semi-crianza red wine from the Ribeira Sacra DO of Ribeiras do Miño subarea, made with 80% Mencía grapes and 20% Garnacha from old strains, these grapes were cultivated for The biologist Carlos Carballeira on the slopes of the Cañon del Sil.

In the preparation of the red Wine Mission Uno the grapes are selected manually, the treading and the alcoholic fermentation and the malolactic are realized in deposit of stainless steel with manual assembling; Finally aging in French oak barrels on their own lees for 8 months.

Mission Uno red wine is ruby ​​red, nose has aromas of red fruit and wild flowers, mouth is soft and sweet with a very long sweet tannin with a very clean final taste.
