Wine P3 is one of the red wines from the Dominio de Tares winery, with the Bierzo Denomination of Origin. It is a monovarietal red wine made with 100% Mencia grapes.

P3 wine from Dominio de Tares is a wine from the San Carlos vineyard with 100-year-old ungrafted pre-phylloxera vines. Hand-picked bunch by bunch, fermented in 600 L roto-fermentors with its own natural yeast and aged for 16 months in French oak barrels with an extra 36 months in the bottle.

P3 from Dominio de Tares is a wine of recognized prestige, as demonstrated by the awards and recognitions obtained over the years. In 2017 it obtained 93 points in Wine Enthusiast Magazine, and in 2011 it was already in the Top 10 of Wine Spectator.

In addition, in 2021 it obtained 96 points in the Proensa Guide and 93 in the Peñín Guide.

P3 is a wine with an elegant garnet color, a complex nose with aromas of prunes, black licorice, truffles, almonds and pure Havana. Refined and silky on the palate.

This wine, Dominio de Tares P3, is very appropriate to pair with recipes with an intense flavor such as stews, game meats or baked lamb.

It is recommended to open and decant 30 minutes before serving at a temperature of 16°C.
