José Cuervo Tequila Reserva de la Familia produced from private reserves of tequila of the family; is obtained with a 100% blue agave grown base in a village in Jalisco, called Tequila, which was subsequently aged for 3 years in barrels of French and American oak barrels, in the cellars of La Rojeña in Tequila.

To produce tequila José Cuervo best agaves from the farm are used with a minimum of 10 years of life and handpicked. Only the heart of the agave pineapple is used, the more tender the area.
José Cuervo Tequila Reserva de la Familia has an aroma of oak, traces of toasted almonds, vanilla, apple and cinnamon. In addition mouth flavors of almonds and olives are appreciated. With a long, silky finish.

José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Tequila is artisan. Each bottle is signed, dated and numbered by hand individually. Each year the Cuervo House invites a Mexican artist to decorate the case of Reserva de la Familia edition becoming a piece of art.

José Cuervo Reserva de la Famila tequila has been awarded distinguished awards in Mexico, the United States and Europe. In 2009 he received the first during the Eighth Awards Ceremony Goddess Mayahuel within the Premium category.
