Viña Vella white wine
Viña Vella withe wine is a young white wine with the O.D. Ribeira Sacra from the Ribeiras do Miño sub-area, Virxen dos Remedios winery located in Diomondi (Saviñao), made with grape varieties: 60% Godello, 20% Albariño and 20% Treixadura.

The harvest is manual, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 15ºC, the maturation is done during four months on lees; No malolactic fermentation is carried out, after which a filtration with diatomaceous earth is carried out.

Viña Vella white wine is straw-yellow, clean and bright. In the nose it has aromas of fresh and ripe fruit with floral notes, in the mouth it is aromatic, with fruit load, fresh and balanced.

Viña Vella blanco wine has several distinctions, among them:

  •        Silver Medal in 8th Concours International Vins de Montagne 1999.
  •        Special Mention in the XII Wine Tasting of Galicia. Xunta de Galicia 2000.
  •        First Prize in XIII Tasting of the wines of the Ribeira Sacra 2007.
  •        Gold Medal in 18th Concours International Vins de Montagne 2010.
  •        Silver medal in 20th Concours International Vins de Montagne 2012.
