Wine Gran Veigadares

Galician white wine Gran Veigadares, the winery Adegas Galegas acquired by Martin Codax, with D.O Rias Baixas, is made with grapes 100% Albariño, coming from vines over 100 years old.

For winemaking Gran Veigadares grapes are deposited in stainless steel tanks where desfangan for 48 hours at low temperature. Then ferments in barrels of 500 liters.

Gran Veigadares white wine has a straw yellow color. The nose has aromas of fruit with creamy and milky notes. The palate is tasty, ample, with fruity flavors and good acidity. Retronasal returns to the fruit wrapped in milk and vanilla appear, and its aftertaste is persistent and prolonged.

Gran Veigadares white wine vintage 2007 was chosen by Robert Parker as one of the 35 best Galician wines, with a score of 92 points.
