Jack Daniels Gold Medal is a series of bottles that conmemoran the medals received by Jack Daniels. It treats of a very limited edition. The 1914 is the fourth of this series.

After the demise of Jack Daniels, in 1914, his nephew, Lem Motlow (director in this period of the destilería), received a letter of Mr Hoctor where informed him of another contest of whiskey, that would celebrate in the world-wide exhibition Anglo-American of London. Lem Sent a batch of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey recently matured in barricas to cross the sea to this prestigious event. Like this it was as it achieved another Medal of Gold like the best whiskey in the world. This bottle does reference to this medal.
