Wine Matsu El Viejo

The wine Matsu El Viejo is one of the red wines with the DO Toro. The grapes used are 100% Tinta de Toro from ancient vineyards of low production. It has an alcohol content of 15% Vol.

In its preparation, fermentation and maceration it takes place for 3 weeks in concrete tanks and malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, just as nurturing, developing for 16 months.

Red wine Matsu El Viejo is cherry red color with violet hues on the rim; It has an intensely aromatic, with aromas of ripe black fruit, well integrated with toasted notes, spices and smoky oak. The palate is big and meaty with very ripe tannins. The aftertaste is long and persistent, they appear again the ripe fruit and well assembled with wood roasted.
